Front-end Developer Opportunity

We’re looking for smart, passionate and capable developers who want to make an impact in the real world using technology to do so. As a software developer, you work on a small team and can switch teams and projects as our business grows and evolves. We need our developers to be versatile and passionate to tackle new problems as we continue to push the technology forward.

A frontend developer at NQDA works with stakeholders to create meaningful, innovative and beautiful products and interfaces that may go from a small business institucional webpage, product presentation (MVPs) or web/mobile applications to a massive digital transformation of an entire enterprise and its processes. You’ll work closely with project managers, designers and other developers and be responsible to bring relevant changes to our clients by delivering great experiences for their customers.

 

what you will do:

  • Develop next-generation web applications with a focus on the client side;
  • Collaborate in a smart environment where you can bring in your ideas;
  • Brainstorm initial ideas and carry them through to concept development;
  • Discuss ideas with all team and/or clients to create best solutions within available budget;
  • Work in a well-opinionated technology stack, developer tools and methodologies that our team is constantly trying to improve and create some in-house patterns;
  • Work in a variety of different business areas;

 

we require:

  • Experienced in the IT world (degree is not a requirement);
  • Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript;
  • Good understanding of CSS preprocessors, such as SASS/LESS;
  • Ability to integrate web services (RESTful, JSON);
  • Great understanding of Javascript principals and potentialities;
  • Ability to work in areas outside of our usual comfort zone, and get things done quickly;
  • Teamwork skills;
  • Write clean, maintainable code;
  • Comfortable with version control systems (we use Git);

 

we will appreciate:

  • Good understanding of English (written and spoken);
  • Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Vue, Angular or React is a great plus;
  • Basic knowledge of tasks automation with webpack or gulp;
  • Ease of use on dependency managers like npm or yarn;
  • Understanding responsive design and browser compatibilities;
  • Some knowledge to build and run Docker containers;
  • Rapid learner who thrives in a fast-paced environment;
  • Ability to debug scripting languages and correct subsequent issues with ease;
  • Able to research technical challenges and find solutions independently;
  • Brief decoding skills, understanding requirements and the broader goals set for each project;
